These lessons are 45 minutes long and focus on Group Musical Theatre lessons, Devising or Solo work.
The skills your child will be working on…
- Singing Technique: Students can learn vocal techniques such as breath control, pitch accuracy, improve their vocal range, and tone production.
- Acting Skills: working on skills such as character development, improvisation, stage presence, and emotional expression.
- Confidence: Through our experience and carefully planned lessons, our pupils confidence in their abilities both on stage and in other aspects of their lives grow.
- Communication: Whether it’s expressing emotions through song or conveying a character’s story through acting, students can improve their communication skills which will also help outside the classroom.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Many performances involve ensemble singing or acting, which helps teamwork, cooperation, and collaboration among pupils.
- Creativity and Expression: We encourage pupils to express themselves creatively through music and drama, using imagination and artistic expression.
- Discipline and Time Management: Learning songs, rehearsing scenes, and preparing for performances require discipline and time management skills, which students will develop
- Resilience: Dealing with challenges such as stage fright or making mistakes during performances can teach students resilience and the importance of perseverance in the face of setbacks.
- Listening Skills: Listening to instructions from teachers, feedback from peers, and music cues during performances can enhance students’ listening skills and ability to follow directions.
