Schools
With a 38% decline in Arts GCSE entries between 2010 – 2019, we know that focus & funding for formal performing arts education in schools is being increasingly cut due to mounting pressures to hit targets in other core subjects.
Not only can Little Voices nurture talent in your school, we can also build confidence in your students with the noticeable benefits that singing & drama brings to school life and beyond.
Our aim is to help you enhance the educational development and pastoral development & care of your pupils through the performing arts using our unique Little Voices framework.
Enhance your school's performing arts provision
By bringing Little Voices into your school setting, we can enhance your performing arts provision with our specialist tuition.
We can work with your school in the following ways:
After-school clubs
Little Voices’ after-school clubs for children aged 4 – 18 carefully follow our LAMDA-based performing arts syllabus.
Our fully-trained singing & drama tutors deliver our award-winning lessons in a fun, safe environment, working with the children in small groups towards LAMDA exams.
This provides your students with a highly-rewarding after-school activity, and their parents with quality wraparound provision.
Lessons can be exclusively for children from your school, or you may decide to also open them up to neighbouring schools.
Whichever option you choose, we’ll take care of all the administration & communication with parents. The last thing we want to do is add to your workload!
In-school lessons
We can also deliver our singing & drama lessons as part of your normal school day.
And because we recognise that schools all have different needs, we can tailor our offering to your school.
So while this could be our core LAMDA syllabus for music and/or drama, it might be that you’d be better off with a bespoke syllabus that we’ve specially adapted to meet your needs.
Our in-school lessons can either be funded by parents or the school, or a combination of the two.
Workshops
We also run a series of short courses and one-off workshops that are perfect if you’d like a bit of a preview of what Little Voices is all about.
We’ve worked with many schools in different ways, so if you’d like to give Little Voices a try in your school, just get in touch with your local office.
