Meet Haylie!

Principal & Drama Tutor

Hello! I’m Haylie and I am the super proud award winning Principal of Little Voices Blackburn, Darwen & Ribble Valley. I started my Little Voices journey around 5 years ago as a tutor before becoming the sales & marketing assistant in Little Voices’ head office to now Principal – which I have been for almost 3 years!

I am also an actor/writer and am represented by the wonderful BWH Agency. I started to act when I was 11 years old and I am a real advocate for the importance of the arts for children and young people – it changed me as a person and my whole outlook on life. It is not just the performance skills you learn but the confidence it gives you and skills that you can carry with you through life. Confidence, resilience and communication skills being my top three favourites! It is not often that someone can say they love their job but I truly do and I feel blessed to be working with the most amazing team. You can read about them below…

Meet Rachael!

Drama Tutor

Rachael is a shining light and has been teaching for us now for 13 years, making her the longest standing tutor in the company! Rachael loves her job and thrives on watching the children blossom into little performers. She is kind, generous, enthusiastic, super talented and just hilarious! We are blessed to have her.
Rachael found the creative bug when she was just 4 years old. She began studying ballet and modern and continued this for over 10 years.  She then joined the Preston Youth Theatre at 10. She has always loved and lived through performance and there was no other area she was going to spend my life in other than creative arts.
After having her 2 boys, teaching seemed like the perfect avenue to continue to express herself and encourage children of all ages to find their confidence, potential and self belief whilst learning and honing new skills. And also making wonderful friendships along the way!
Rachael holds a BA Hons degree in ‘Acting’ after studying at The Royal Conservatiore of Scotland (formerly RSAMD).
She has a wide range of performance experience in TV, Film, Short Film, Theatre and Commercials. Her credits include, ‘Coronation Street’, ‘Shameless’, ‘Holby City’, ‘The Bay’ and many more. Rachael is super talented and we feel truly blessed to still have her on our team and part of the Little Voices family. Continuing to provide the best tutoring for our pupils!

Meet Kirsty!

Singing/Drama Tutor

Kirsty is a huge part of our Little Voices family. She started in September 2021 and has been a shining light every since. Her enthusiasm, energy, amazing talent and kindness is incredible and we are so lucky to have her. Kirsty teaches in our Clitheroe and Blackburn centres and also works in local schools too!

Kirsty Graduated from University Of Central Lancashire in 2019 gaining a First Class Hon’s degree in Musical Theatre. Since graduating, Kirsty has made her professional debut in Jerry Springer the Opera at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester (2019). This was following a recent performance of CATS at the Altrincham Garrick. Kirsty tells us that Musical Theatre is her greatest passion and her one aim is to be able to share this passion with others, whether that be through performing or teaching to ensure that other generations know the joy & magic that Theatre can bring.  She aims to help our students realise that whatever their background, abilities or skill, theatre is for everybody!

Meet Liv

Drama Tutor

Liv is the newest member of our Little Voices family and has felt embraced by open arms and imaginations from night one! She is wonderfully creative and a bundle of energy and we are so lucky to have her on our team.

Coming from recently working alongside child actors and their parents on a Disney+ series, Liv believes potential is limitless when learning is ongoing. That’s why, while currently performing in touring professional interactive theatre, she trains weekly at drama school. She is passionate about opportunity through theatre, presently performs theatre in education and is touring local high schools with a charity inspiring social change. Liv feels passionately that acting is an adventure where confidence is our stamina so centres each exploration in accessible, uninhibited storytelling play!
