We are searching for the best, most experienced and trained SINGING teacher to join our team at our Little Voices Mellor (Blackburn) centre. If you are passionate, enthusiastic, fun and love working with children and young people, you could be just what we are looking for! We are extremely passionate about going above and beyond for every child and making their experience with us extra special. We are like a big family and would love for you to join our Little Voices family!
Job Responsibilities:
To teach 4 classes of up to 8 children every Thursday evening (term time). Providing lessons that are educational, supportive and endlessly fun. To inspire even the shyest children to want to build their confidence in singing and find their own unique voice. Our tutors are also trained to teach LAMDA to pupils for their spring time exams. LAMDA experience is preferred but not essential.
You must be able to:

Deliver effective warm ups and cool downs as part of teaching

Have a wide range of knowledge in Musical Theatre, contemporary music and current trends

Be able to teach vocal techniques and skills to children aged 4-18.

To plan engaging and fun lessons well in advance

To write pupils reports at the end of each academic year

Inform parents/guardians on how their child is improving and what they need to focus on to maintain progress

To go above and beyond for your pupils!

Work effectively as a team, alongside other tutors and your Principal
A COMMITMENT TO the school term of 36 WEEKS PER YEAR is essential.
