Katie Hainbach – Principal

Hello, I am Katie, the principal of Little Voices North London. I hold a Masters in Vocal Performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and a BA (Hons) Music from Leeds College of Music, specialising in performance and pedagogy.

I have experience working in primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and community settings. I am also an experienced choir leader and private singing teacher. As a professional singer I have worked for numerous opera companies, choral societies and choirs. I am passionate about sharing the benefits of singing and drama, and how Little Voices can enhance children and young people’s lives.

I also hold a Masters qualification in Careers Advice from MMU and have worked in schools and colleges teaching interview skills, delivering employment workshops and holding mock interviews. I believe that the transferable skills gained from singing, drama and public speaking are a great asset when it comes to school, university and future job interviews.

I am originally from Dublin and now live in North London with my husband and three young children.

Emma Olivia – Assistant Tutor

Hi, I am Emma! I am an assistant tutor at Little Voices North London.

I moved to the UK from Germany in 2020 to study Musical Theatre at Falmouth University, where I graduated in 2023 and then moved to London.

I have always wanted to be a singer and voice teacher, since I was very young. In Germany, I was part of numerous theatre groups and choirs for over a decade. After I finished my A-Levels, I worked as a music teacher, specialising in singing, for four years and then also as a youth support worker for one year.

One thing that I’d love to specialise in in the future is working as a voice teacher for neurodivergent children and adults.

I have been taught in CVT voice technique and then Estill during my time at university.

As a performer, I appeared in a few theatre productions in Germany, including a production of Romeo and Juliet, where I also worked as an assistant director and language coach. At Falmouth University, I appeared in a Showcase version of ‘Amelie’ as Amelie and in ‘Spring Awakening’ as a Swing for Moritz and Otto.

Tom Morss – Assistant

Hello, my name is Tom and I am an assistant at Little Voices North London. I am a trained opera singer and have a Masters of Music and PG Dip from the Royal Northern College of Music and a BMus from Leeds University. I have performed with companies such as Opera Holland Park, Northern Ireland Opera, Guildford Opera and Hampstead Garden Opera.

I am also a teacher of English as a foreign language and enjoy teaching people of all ages.

I am originally from Scotland and now live in London with my wife and three children. My eldest daughter has special educational needs, and I am passionate about ensuring children with diverse needs have access to music, drama and arts.

Harriet Munday – Theatre Week Tutor

Harriet studied musical theatre at The MTA (named school of the year 2011 and 2017 in The Stage) and graduated in 2020.

Since graduating, Harriet has worked professionally with Birmingham Stage Company on multiple contracts with Horrible Histories both on tour and in London.

She has 10 years teaching experience for a wide range of ages in London and her home town of Hull in all three disciplines, as well as being chosen to teach dance in America for a summer. Harriet loves working with Little Voices helping budding young performers grow in confidence and reach their full star potential!

Megan McClymont – Theatre Week Tutor

Megan’s love of performing was sparked at a young age. Participating in choirs, school performances, amateur dramatics and dance shows paved the way to a future in the creative arts.

After school – and travelling to New Zealand and back – Megan began a Foundation in Acting at Mountview before moving t
o London to train at Fourth Monkey. There she fell in love with the ensemble ethos, the demands of physical theatre and the creativity of puppetry and mime. After graduation and an Italian tour of The Wizard of Oz with Erasmus Theatre, Megan began working with children’s performing arts companies. She discovered a passion for supporting young people on their creative journey.
Megan has pursued this passion and is particularly interested in the benefits of performing arts for mental health and well-being. She roots her practice in helping children to develop confidence and self-esteem.
