Meet the Team

Katie Hainbach – Principal 

Katie trained at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, where she gained a Masters in Vocal Performance, she also has a BA (Hons) Music from Leeds College of Music, specialising in performance and pedagogy.

She has experience working in primary schools, secondary schools, colleges and community settings. An experienced choir leader and private singing teacher, she is passionate about sharing the benefits of singing and drama with young people, she is proud of how Little Voices can enhance children and young people’s lives.

Katie also has a Masters qualification in Careers Advice from MMU and has worked in schools and colleges teaching interview skills, delivering employment workshops and holding mock interviews. She strongly believes that the transferable skills gained from singing, drama and public speaking are a great asset when it comes to school, university and future job interviews.

Katie is originally from Dublin and now lives in North London with her husband and three children.

Emma Olivia – Assistant Tutor

Emma moved to the UK from Germany in 2020 to study Musical Theatre at Falmouth University, where she graduated in 2023 and before moving to London. In Germany, she was part of numerous theatre groups and choirs for over a decade. She has worked as a music teacher, specialising in singing, for four years and then also as a youth support worker for one year.

She has a particular interest in working as a voice teacher for neurodivergent children and adults. She has been taught in CVT voice technique and Estill during her time at university.

As a performer, she has appeared in theatre productions in Germany, including a production of Romeo and Juliet, where I she also worked as an assistant director and language coach. At Falmouth University, she appeared in a Showcase version of ‘Amelie’ as Amelie and in ‘Spring Awakening’ as a Swing for Moritz and Otto.

Rita Catrupa – Tutor

Rita is originally Portuguese and has been passionate about music since she was very young.
Her journey began at the age of 9 when he began to take singing lessons, and during her academic life she belonged to choirs, academic glee clubs and learned musicality through guitar and flute lessons. At the age of 12 she joined her first school theatre club and at the age of 15, she did an internship at a local radio station.
Rita was an entertainment coordinator as well as a singing and performative artist in southern and central Portugal for over 3 years. After being accepted for the “Popular Music Performance” Master’s, she moved to London and started her solo musical career. In 2021 Rita started to teach singing and drama in different performing arts schools. Today, she performs at events and venues in the UK and is passionate about teaching pupils to follow their dreams!

Rowan MacKillop – Tutor

Rowan trained in musical theatre at the Institute of the Arts Barcelona and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts respectively.

Since graduating she has performed in Cyprus and various tours around the UK. Rowan has been working with children for almost 10 years, teaching singing, drama and dance to children from 0-18 all across Scotland, London and Texas! She is really excited to be working with Little Voices, seeing the children’s confidence and voices grow and blossom every week!

Rawda Al-Belbaisi – Assistant

Rawda is currently a student at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, earning her degree in Creative Musicianship, and is an alumni of Bodens College of Performing Arts, where in which she earned a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts with a Distinction *.

Rawda has loved music and drama her whole life, and has been actively training and performing since the age of 10; from choir to Capella groups, musicals to Shakespeare plays, playing in bands to playing in Orchestras.

She loves to get stuck into anything and everything that she does, with positivity and good energy!

Tom Morss – Assistant

Tom is a trained opera singer with a Masters of Music and PG Dip from the Royal Northern College of Music and a BMus from Leeds University. He has performed with companies such as Opera Holland Park, Northern Ireland Opera, Guildford Opera and Hampstead Garden Opera. Tom is also a teacher of English as a foreign language and teaches people of all ages.

Originally from Scotland, he now lives in London with my wife and three children. Tom’s eldest daughter has special educational needs, and he is passionate about ensuring children with diverse needs have access to the arts.

Harriet Munday – Theatre Week Tutor

Harriet studied musical theatre at The MTA (named school of the year 2011 and 2017 in The Stage) and graduated in 2020.

Since graduating, Harriet has worked professionally with Birmingham Stage Company on multiple contracts with Horrible Histories both on tour and in London.

She has 10 years teaching experience for a wide range of ages in London and her home town of Hull in all three disciplines, as well as being chosen to teach dance in America for a summer. Harriet loves working with Little Voices helping budding young performers grow in confidence and reach their full star potential!

 

 

Megan McClymont – Theatre Week Tutor

Megan’s love of performing was sparked at a young age. Participating in choirs, school performances, amateur dramatics and dance shows paved the way to a future in the creative arts.

After school – and travelling to New Zealand and back – Megan began a Foundation in Acting at Mountview before moving t
o London to train at Fourth Monkey. There she fell in love with the ensemble ethos, the demands of physical theatre and the creativity of puppetry and mime. After graduation and an Italian tour of The Wizard of Oz with Erasmus Theatre, Megan began working with children’s performing arts companies. She discovered a passion for supporting young people on their creative journey.
Megan has pursued this passion and is particularly interested in the benefits of performing arts for mental health and well-being. She roots her practice in helping children to develop confidence and self-esteem.
